Project 2: Photoinduced hydrosilylation of alkynes
• Synthesized substrates used for the experiments and did many trials of the hydrosilylation reactions under the reaction condition we designed.
• This project approaches an end and the article is being composed.

审理周期
该学生是9月初转案的,当初定了一所南加大。但是后期顾问告知这所院校不操作。后续学生这里出了一些问题。二次转案是在11月末操作的,当时定了13所院校,大多截止日期是12月15。因此留给文案的操作时间很有限。
好在是学生自己,乃至学生爸爸的主观性都很强,他们参与了申请的过程,并且能够自己填写一些网申中教授相关的信息和刷卡提交。

学生未二次转案前,一方面给学生整理出简历和套磁信,一方面积极了解学生的套磁进度和定校倾向,为后续的PS写作做准备。
PS写作,开头突出爷爷,微量元素的专家,在化学领域的突出贡献对自己的影响。
然后正文部分,从高中的时候参加过化学奥林匹克竞赛,到大学的化学课程,再到医学化学和有机化学相关的研究,自己对化学的兴趣日渐浓厚。
结果出体现自己远大的报复。Organic synthesis, in my eyes, is a kind of art. It requires rigorous attitude and solid foundation on the one hand and imagination and smartness on the other. In my longing Ph.D. study, I would dedicate myself to the research on organic chemistry. I truly believe that breakthrough in more creative synthetic methods to the efficiency and economy direction will help break many current limits in the study of medicinal chemistry and bring novel theories of organic chemistry in real setting.

案例总结 1)博士申请的deadline一般是12月1,或12月15。因为顾问老师们应该引此为鉴,早点定校转案,给文案更充裕的时间进行文书的操作。
