听力学是研究人的听觉功能， 听力障碍 的诊疗、康复，以及环境噪声对人耳的危害等的一门科学。听力学的研究范围较广，有以下分支:基础听力学、实验听力学、 临床听力学 、小儿听力学、工业听力学、法医听力学等。与大家利害关系较大的是临床听力学，它又包括诊断听力学和康复听力学两大部分。前者的主要内容包括听功能测试、测试结果分析、听功能状态评价，协助耳科、神经内、外科发现病变，为言语-语言障碍提供诊断和处理意见。后者的主要内容包括药物治疗、听力重建手术、应用助听设备、进行听力言语训练。 听力学专业是为适应我国六千万听力障碍者的需要于新世纪在我国高校开设的一门新专业。该学科研究听觉的生理、病理及听力康复方法，乃生物科学、电声学与语言学、医学等学科交叉的边缘学科。全世界范围内， 听力师 已经成为最流行的十大职业之一。  因为这个专业在国内外都属于医学类专业的一个小分支，因此，很少有学校开设这个专业。

目前，国内开设此专业的以山东省内的滨州医学院和浙江省的浙江中医药大学为典型学校，以滨州医学院为例，主要开设的专业是：听力学与言语障碍这个专业，本科四年学习此专业，如果想要申请研究生的话，国内鲜少有学校开设，因为大部分学生想要出国或者去香港学习此专业，那有这个专业的学校，香港的话是香港大学是开设这个专业的。具体请看丹丹老师详解：

课程概述和目标： The Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences, The University of Hong Kong, was one of the first in South East Asia and China to offer post-graduate training in audiology. The first students were enrolled in 1996, and the next entry will be in September 2016.

What is Audiology?

This rapidly developing specialty involves the prevention, identification and assessment of hearing disorders and the rehabilitation of persons with hearing impairment. Hearing loss can have serious consequences for social, educational and language development if not detected and treated promptly. Audiologists work in a wide variety of settings, including adult and paediatric hospitals, private hearing aid practice, industrial consulting, schools and in research.

One person in ten has some form of hearing impairment. There is a strong demand for audiologists in many nations, including those in Asia, and our graduates are employed in a wide range of audiological settings.

The Programme

The division’s two-year programme provides students with detailed theoretical background knowledge of human hearing and hearing loss, as well as intensive clinical practice in a variety of audiology placements. The medium of instruction is English and our students are encouraged to actively participate in the learning process. Assessment is in part progressive and by examination. With special arrangements and permission from the division, overseas students may be able to undertake part of their clinical training in their own countries. The programme is designed to provide students with high quality clinical skills and an appreciation of research in audiology. Students carry out a research project in the second year of the course.

申请条件：

Admissions Requirements

To be eligible for admission to the Master of Science in Audiology programme, a candidate shall satisfy both the University Admission Requirements and the Programme Specific Requirements as listed below:

• shall comply with the General Regulations and the Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula ;
• shall hold either a Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, linguistics, physics,  medicine, speech and hearing sciences or other subjects relevant to this multidisciplinary profession from The University of Hong Kong or a degree from another university or comparable institution accepted as equivalent;

• for a candidate who is seeking admission on the basis of a qualification from a university or comparable institution outside Hong Kong of which the language of teaching and/or examination is not English, shall satisfy the University English language requirement applicable to higher degrees as prescribed under General Regulation G2(b).

• score of 550 or above (paper-based test) or 80 or above (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) #; or

• minimum overall band of 6 with no sub-test lower than 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) #; or

• grade C or above in the Overseas General Certificate of Education, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, or the Cambridge Test of Proficiency in English Language.

• shall satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination, if required.

For admission, only TOEFL or IELTS scores recorded in the two years before the date of application will be considered.

持有香港大学的教育学、心理学、语言学、物理、医学、言语及听力科学或其他相关专业的学士学位，或由另一所大学或同等机构接受的学位;

托福成绩为550或以上(笔试)或80或以上(基于互联网的考试); 或

在国际英语语言测试系统(IELTS)中，不低于5.5的最小总分(6); 或

在海外普通教育证书、国际普通中等教育证书或剑桥英语熟练程度考试中，C级或以上。

如有需要，应在资格考试中满足考官的要求。
