申请方面 ： 2020 年中 Intake 申请截止日期延长至 2020 年 6 月 12 日（递交完整的申请材料）。

语言方面 ：墨尔本大学针对 2020 年年中开课及 2021 年所有开课适用如下语言政策（临时政策）：

学生由 2020 年第一学期延期到第二学期的学生仍满足语言条件；

雅思、托福、 PTE 有效期由 2 年延长至 3 年；

墨尔本大学认可 TOEFL iBT® Special Home Edition ；

未提及的 Duolingo 及 Versant 墨大不接受。

上课方式：2020 年第二学期采取在线授课及考核模式，后续如有变动，会及时告知。

Extension of mid-year application date

To support our future students in the face of the evolving global COVID-19 challenge, we have made changes to the application date for semester 2 2020. Friday 12 June 2020 is now the application closing date for most courses with mid-year intake at the University of Melbourne. Complete applications should be submitted online by 12 June for studies commencing in August.

Before submitting applications for particular graduate courses please confirm the closing date with the relevant faculty or graduate school. Find out more about undergraduate and graduate application dates.

English language requirements

We have made some temporary revisions to the English Language Requirements to accommodate challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. For courses commencing mid-year 2020 and all intakes in 2021, the following revisions apply:

• Students who had met English Language Requirements for Semester 1 2020 and deferred to the mid-year 2020 intake will automatically meet them for mid-year intakes in 2020

• The validity of IELTS, TOEFL and Pearson PTE Academic tests has been temporarily extended from two to three years

• The TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition version is temporarily being accepted as equivalent to existing accepted TOEFL tests

• Tests not listed above or in our existing English Language Requirements, including Duolingo and Versant tests, will not be accepted.

Commencement of Semester 2 fully online for all students if necessary

For now, we’ve shifted to a virtual campus to help students access classes, support and wellbeing services, no matter where they are in the world. Students who commence with us in Semester 2, 2020 online will have the opportunity to complete the full semester online. Full online teaching and assessment arrangements for all of Semester 2, 2020 will be available where necessary. Students will start something new online and join us on campus soon. We are committed to supporting all students to progress through their degrees.

We’ll continue to update this website with information and advice for students wanting to apply for mid-year entry or planning for studies in 2021 as soon as it becomes available.

Subject syllabus for undergraduate course applications

Please submit complete syllabus for all Mathematics and/or the Laboratory Sciences subjects (Chemistry, Biology or Physics) for Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science course applications where your applicant has an international tertiary studies background. Detailed syllabus are necessary for Admissions to determine how the mathematics and laboratory science prerequisites for these courses have been satisfied. If syllabus are not provided, there will be delays in the assessment of applications from students with international tertiary results.

Graduate admissions team – turn-around times

The Graduate Admissions team has recently received a large volume documents that have been uploaded in order to meet offer conditions. The team is currently focusing on mid-year applications and this is causing some delays in processing applications for 2021 commencement. If you have uploaded documents to meet offer conditions please note the following turn-around times:

• at least 4 weeks for processing of 2021 applications
