The program leading to the Master of Architecture in Urban Design (MAUD) is intended for individuals who have completed a five-year undergraduate professional program in architecture or its equivalent. 是本科背景为建筑的专业,

Conceived as a two-year (four semester) program, the MAUD shares a strong first-semester core curriculum with the MLAUD program that includes the Elements of Urban Design Core Studio, the Urban Design Proseminar, and the Cities by Design lecture course. The remaining three semesters offer a more flexible academic path that allows students to engage in advanced studios and elective courses across all three GSD departments. The curricular structure encourages advanced individual and collective research and the possibility to develop an elective thesis.

Master in Urban Planning 城市规划

Accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board and open to students with an undergraduate degree, 没有限制本科背景。 the two-year professional Master in Urban Planning (MUP) degree program engages with critical issues facing cities and regions in coming decades.

Drawing on the strengths of the department, school, and university, GSD planning students learn how to understand, analyze, and influence the variety of forces—social, economic, cultural, legal, political, ecological, and aesthetic, among others—shaping the built environment. Four key areas of concern animate the learning environment: social and critical perspectives on planning issues, sustainable development and resilience, international planning and global connections, and physical planning. A variety of concentrations allow students to specialize.

A two-year enrollment of roughly 80 students and a core, interdisciplinary faculty of scholars and practitioners generate an intimate, engaged educational atmosphere in which students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for leadership positions in their future professional careers. Graduates of the program work in local city planning departments, state and national agencies, private consulting firms, not-for-profit organizations, development companies, and other public and private institutions in the United States and internationally.

Concurrent and Joint Degrees 联合学位

Students in the Master in Urban Planning (MUP) program can undertake concurrent degrees with other departments at the GSD and joint degrees with certain schools outside the GSD. 只有选择这个学位，才能修 2 个学位。

Concurrent degree students must be in full-time residence at the GSD for at least one additional year beyond the longer of the two degree programs.
