Overview：概述

The Master of Media Practice focuses on content production in the dynamic and increasingly global field of media and communications. Areas of study include broadcast and online journalism, media liaison, writing for media, social media communication, feature writing, ethical and legal issues, and international media practice. This course will broaden your written and spoken communication skills as well as your production skills in print, broadcast and online media. You will also develop a sophisticated understanding of media industries, audiences and global media environments.

学术： Entry in the 1 year or 1.5 year degree program is determined by the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) criteria below: Admission to candidature for the Master of Media Practice (1.5 years full-time) requires: a bachelor's degree with a minimum credit (65%) average calculated over the whole degree, from the University of Sydney, or an equivalent qualification. 

修读 1 年或 1.5 年学位课程的学生，须符合下列认可先前学习的准则 : 传媒实务硕士 ( 全日制 ) 的入学条件为 : 毕业于悉尼大学 (University of Sydney) ，学士学位，最低学分 (65%) 。 Admission to candidature for the Master of Media Practice (1 year full-time) requires: completion of the embedded Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in Media Practice with a minimum credit (65%) average, or an equivalent qualification; or an Honours degree in a relevant discipline; or relevant professional work experience and a bachelor's degree with a minimum credit (65%) average or an equivalent qualification.

What you'll study To qualify for the Master of Media Practice you must complete 72 credit points, including: a minimum of 24 credit points of core units of study; and a maximum of 42 credit points from elective units of study. With the permission of the Degree Coordinator a maximum of 12 credit points can be taken as elective units from units of study outside those listed in the Media Practice subject area of the Postgraduate Unit of Study Table, including a maximum of 6 credit points from units of study offered by other faculties; and at least 6 credit points of capstone units of study. Recognition of Prior Learning / credit for previous studies is available for this course, refer to Admission requirement below.
