首先给大家讲解一下TESOL是什么？TESOL的全称是："Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages" 的缩写，中文翻译是"对外英语教学" 。未来的就业方向多半是英语教师的一类岗位。对于女孩子来说，是最合适不过的专业啦。现在所有的五百强的企业基本都要求学生的语言能力，那么其实很多学生选择这个专业也可以提升学生的语言的能力呢。那么哪些同学可以申请这个专业呢？首先本专业学的就是英语专业，其次非英语专业的学生也可以申请，但是建议申请的时候带6.0分的雅思成绩可以更加提高录取的成功率呢。所以想申请TESOL的学生们，你们的条件符合要求吗？那英国又有哪些学校可以申请这个专业呢。基本要求是什么样的呢？老师可以给大家分享一下：

Entry requirements

Applicants should have a second-class Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (e.g. English, languages, education, linguistics). Applicants normally need at least two years' full-time language teaching experience or part-time equivalent post first degree. Applicants normally also have a teaching qualification although this is not an entry requirement. Please note that having sufficient language teaching experience after having completed your undergraduate degree is an essential entry requirement. If you do not have the required teaching experience, you might be interested in applying for either the Applied Linguistics MA or the Teaching of English to Speakers of other Languages (Pre-Service) MA, which do not have previous teaching experience as an entry requirement.

Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.

Entry requirements

Normally a minimum of a second-class Bachelor's degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a related area in the field of English or linguistics.

Overall grade of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each of the subtests.

Entry requirement

A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in a relevant discipline. Previous teaching experience is not required.

Alternatively, you may be considered on the basis of employment or relevant experience; please contact us to check.

If you are studying at a Chinese 211 institution, you must have a minimum overall average of 80% for courses and at least 80% on the dissertation. For non-211 institutions, you must have an average of 85% for courses and 80% on the dissertation.

IELTS: total 7.0 (at least 6.5 in each module)

Academic entry qualification overview

A good Bachelors degree, an initial qualification in teaching and a minimum of two years' full-time teaching experience.

IELTS test score of 6.5 or more overall, with a minimum writing score of 6.5 and no other subsection below 6.0
