悉尼大学野生动物保护和教育专业开设！

悉尼大学与Taronga Conservation Society Australia开始南半球首创的独家教育联盟合作，这是双方在知识创造和野生动物保护和教育方面的最佳实践。

鉴于 这个 合作，自 2019年起，悉尼大学开设两个新的课程：

-          本科： Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Taronga Wildlife Conservation) ;

-          研究生： Master of Education (Taronga Conservation Education)

就读上述两个课程的学生除了在校园内学习外，还会在塔隆加科学与学习研究所 (Taronga Institute of Science & Learning)的进行学习。

Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Taronga Wildlife Conservation) 的申请现已开始；

2019年Semester 1 的Master of Education (Taronga Conservation Education)以及相关的GD和GC课程的申请现已开始，并将于2019年2月1日关闭。

The University of Sydney and Taronga Conservation Society Australia are excited to have officially announced an exclusive educational alliance – the first of its kind in the southern hemisphere – which reflects a shared commitment to best p ractice in knowledge creation and practical wildlife conservation and education.

Th e Taronga-Sydney Alliance p rovides unparalleled opportunities to develop skills and expertise in achieving conservation outcomes. Our aim is to provide students with skills and expertise in conservation vital to securing a shared future for wildlife and people.

From the start of 2019, we will be offering two new degrees:

· For undergraduate students - Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Taronga Wildlife Conservation) ; and  

· For postgraduate students with an education or teaching related background - Master of Education (Taronga Conservation Education) .

Our students will be taught at the University’s campuses, and will also include some contact hours at the Taronga Institute of Science & Learning, a purpose-built research and education centre on site at Taronga Zoo Sydney, opened last month by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, the Taronga Institute will form a gateway for students to access the wider Zoo campus, providing authentic, interactive opportunities in an environment of working science.
