联合项目2+2，申请美国研究生需要考托福吗

      目前很多的国内大学都开设2+2的联合办学项目，这些学生在英语国家有了学习与生活的经历，那么在申请美国研究生的时候还需要提供托福成绩吗 ？

      答案：具体情况，具体分析。下面李老师以美国前60大学的工程学院为例，来帮大家解释。

第一种 可以免。

列举学校

1 康奈尔大学，在美国或是英文国家取得学位证，即可免去托福成绩。

2 东北大学， 在美国获得或是将要获得学位证，即可免去托福成绩。

3 西北大学  在英语国家取得学位证，即可免去托福成绩。

第二种，不能免。

列举学校：

1南加州大学，需要在美国或是英文国家读满完整的本科才可以免托福。3+1或是2+2的项目都不能免。

1) You hold a bachelor’s degree completed in its entirety in the United States or another Anglophone country.

The bachelor’s degree should be earned at a regionally accredited university located in the United States, or at an officially recognized university in another country where English is both the language of instruction and the only officially recognized language of the country. Please note that the entire program needs to have been completed in the qualifying country.

2 哥伦比亚大学 明确说明联合项目不免托福。

Applicants who earned their undergraduate degree in a country in which English is not the official and widely spoken language must submit either the TOEFL,  IELTS, or PTE Academic test with their application. Only one English language test is required. Applicants who earn combined, joint, or dual program degree/s from both an institution in a country where English is not the official or widely spoken language and an institution in the UK or US are also required to submit one of the English language tests with their application even if they are awarded a degree from a UK or US institution.  

3  密歇根大学安娜堡分校  需要完整的本科都在英语国家读才可豁免托福。

You completed all of your undergraduate education and earned an undergraduate degree at an institution where the language of instruction is English only. 

第三种 需要跟学校具体核实

列举学校

1 卡内基梅隆大学 明确规定 要根据自己的情况发邮件询问学校。

TOEFL or IELTS scores are required of all international students whose native language is not English. If your native language is not English but you attended an English-speaking institution for your undergraduate degree, please check with the department to determine if you will need to take the TOEFL or IELTS exam.   

2 佐治亚理工学院  只有在美国获得学位或是读满一年才可以，其他英文国家的学历并不可以。

Applicants who have received or will receive a degree from an accredited university in the United States. You must upload an unofficial transcript from that institution within the online admissions application. If you are offered admission, the official transcript must be received, or the TOEFL exam scores will be required to enroll.

      还有一类比较特殊的 ，如普渡大学，如果学生申请了豁免，但是需要在申请签证前，让学校提供完整的在英语国家就读过的成绩单。针对英国的在读学生要注意自己下发成绩单的时间，一般英国学校最终出成绩会在每年的6-7月，这个时间再去让学校审理签证的确是太晚了。针对此情况，不建议采用豁免托福政策。
