一、工业设计简介

 

工业设计是指通过学习工业设计的基础理论与知识，具有应用造型设计原理和法则处理各种产品的造型与色彩、形式与外观、结构与功能、结构与材料、外形与工艺、产品与人、产品与环境、市场的关系，并将这些关系统一表现在产品的造型设计的基本能力。

作品集要求：

This should describe your abilities in design and presentation. It should include representative samples of drawings, model-making and any other work-up material at investigative or exploratory stages of the design process, as well as presentation of finished pieces.It should also contain samples of any written work, technical studies or additional work carried out in conjunction with the design projects. The portfolio should show the range and variety of skills and experience but should emphasise your knowledge of the subject for which you are applying.

作品集要求：

Applicants will be selected on the basis of the following criteria relevant to the discipline of industrial design. These criteria are assessed through a review of the personal statement, portfolio and interview. Interviews are only arranged on the basis that the portfolio demonstrates the applicant’s ability to skilfully generate and communicate a range of ideas addressing problems relevant to the discipline of industrial design.

-The analysis of a design problem from a number of perspectives and generate a range of design responses to a particular problem;

-That the applicant shows that their personal and professional aspirations are compatible with the aims and objectives of MA Industrial Design;
